While the Library’s primary function is to serve the information needs of our professional staff members, patients and visitors are welcome to browse the collection of fiction in the library, or use the consumer health collection and other resources on site. Patients and visitors are unable to borrow journals or medical publications, but may purchase items off the book cart for $1 to $2. You can also make an appointment to see the Librarian (see contact information above).
The Library is located on the 10th floor of the Main Hospital and is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the Library and there are semi-private computer terminals available that provide access to the internet.
Annual charity book sale
Are you looking for the perfect vacation novel, quick read, or trying to fill your own personal library? Bookmark your calendar for the Library’s annual used book sale held September 12-14 in the main lobby. This annual event raises funds to reinvest in database subscriptions and library resources that benefit the entire hospital. To donate books or games for sale please contact Laura Paprocki at 519-749-6549. We ask that all donations be less than five years old and in good condition. Many thanks to our ongoing supporters.
