The 2016 Manulife LPGA Classic, held August 29 to September 4, raised a record-setting total of nearly $448,000 in support of St. Mary’s General Hospital.

More than 68,000 fans – also a record – attended this year’s event at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge. On September 2 the community was awash in red for Red Day in support of women’s heart health. Sixty businesses, organizations, and community leaders wore red and joined the social media campaign, organized by the St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation.

Total contributions to St. Mary’s now surpass $1.6 million through various initiatives related to the Manulife LPGA Classic over the past five years. St. Mary’s is truly grateful for this investment, which has allowed us to purchase the best possible equipment to serve our patients and families.
