Cardiac Diagnostic Testing

A number of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests are performed at St. Mary’s to assist in the diagnosis of individuals who are displaying symptoms of heart disease.

Test performed at St. Mary’s include: echocardiogram, Transesophageal Echo, Stress-Echo Testing, Exercise Stress Testing, Electrocardiograms (ECG), Loop Recording, Contrast (Bubble) Study, and Cardiac Holter Monitoring.

The cardiac diagnostic program at St. Mary’s is located on the first floor of the hospital. To contact the Cardiac Diagnostic Departmentcall 519-749-6938.

Some cardiac studies are performed in the Nuclear Medicine program, also located on the first floor of the hospital. Tests include Myocardial Perfusion and Wall Motion (MUGA) Study.
