St. Mary’s General Hospital is considered an international leader in the use of Lean Management, a tool pioneered by Toyota, which empowers front-line staff to identify, implement, measure and sustain quality and safety improvements. St. Mary’s has been featured in many publications and the latest is the Harvard Business Review.
