Request for Proposal: St. Mary's COVID-19 Commemorative Art Project
Calling all Artists! It is an exciting time at St. Mary’s General Hospital (SMGH) as we look to partner within our community to create and install a custom work of art at the hospital.
SMGH is inviting local artists to submit a proposal for the design of interior artwork to commemorate the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our hospital and community. We are looking for a work of art suitable for an indoor environment to allow patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and visitors the opportunity to reflect and remember the COVID-19 pandemic. This artwork will be symbolic to the hospital and its legacy as an organization.
The artwork will be installed and showcased in our front lobby, directly under the main staircase. This location was selected for its high traffic and visibility, as well as its ability to provide a secure and safe place for the art to reside.
Artists who are interested in submitting a proposal for this project, are asked to complete a submission form and other application requirements by September 30th.
For full details about the project, budget information, application requirements, and a submission form, please visit our Request for Proposal webpage.
For any questions, and to submit your proposal, please reach out to wellness@smgh.ca.
