Outbreak on Fourth Floor (400) Medicine Unit Declared Over

In consultation with Region of Waterloo Public Health, St. Mary’s General Hospital is declaring an end to our COVID-19 outbreak on our Fourth Floor (400) Medicine Unit. In total, the outbreak impacted 13 patients and we continue to wish everyone well in their recovery. 

As a reminder:

• Diligence with hand hygiene and appropriate PPE for care continues.
• In-person Care Partner visits can resume.
• For Care Partners and visitors, please stay home if you are sick.
