Please note the posting is now closed.
St. Mary’s General Hospital is striving to become the safest and most effective hospital in Canada, characterized by innovation, compassion and respect. Our Board of Trustees is seeking talented, engaged members of our community to join in the pursuit of this vision by participating as voluntary members on our Board Committees. As members, your role will be to share in the governance and leadership of our organization.
Our governance structure consists of a Board of Trustees and four Board committees: Audit, Quality, Mission & Governance, and Resource Planning & Utilization. We are looking for members for the Quality Committee and the Mission & Governance Committee.
Our Board welcomes representation from all areas of our multi-cultural community, including members from all faiths. At the same time, in your work as a Board Committee member you are expected to respect our commitment to the Catholic values represented in our Mission.
We are looking to augment our current committees skills base such that applicants with experience in the financial, legal and Lean/continuous improvement methodologies fields would be of specific interest to us. Above all, we are seeking commitment, enthusiasm and a passion for delivering the highest quality healthcare with our partners in the KW community.
If you would like to be a part of a dynamic and committed volunteer board committee that will help forge the future of acute health care in our community, please apply in writing by Friday, July 24, 2020. Please include your qualifications, experience, and the names of three personal references to:
