How can I find out information about my loved one/friend?

You will need a privacy code (4 digit number) to receive any information over the telephone. This number is provided to each patient and/or designated support persons upon admission. If your loved one/friend has telephone service, you can simply call the hospital Switchboard at 519-744-3311 and ask to speak to the person by name.

We welcome all feedback and suggest you first speak to the Program Manager responsible for your area of concern. You are also welcome to contact our Patient Experience Coordrinator by email or by calling 519-749-6578 ext. 6867.

Where is the hospital located?

The main hospital is located at 911 Queen’s Blvd. Kitchener, Ontario, N2M 1B2

Where do I park, and how much does parking cost?

The Visitor’s Parking Lot is located directly across the street from the Hospital’s main entrance. The entrance to the lot is off of Spadina Road West.

Parking Rates are as follows:

  • 30-minute grace period to allow visitors to park for free during that time period
  • $3.50 per 30 minutes, up until $12.25 maximum per day
  • Unlimited entry and exit for a 24-hour period for $14
  • Unlimited 7 day exit and entry for $60

When you arrive you will receive a ticket from the entry gate. Keep this ticket with you. When you leave, you will insert the ticket into a payment kiosk. St. Mary’s has a kiosk in the parking lot that allows you to pay upon exit by credit card or you can pay at the kiosks located in the main lobby. Once payment is received, it will be validated. You will then insert the ticket into the gate on your way out of the parking lot.

Cash and credit cards are accepted at the parking kiosk, located in the main lobby of the Hospital or in the entrance to the Emergency Department

Please note:  No parking is permitted in the driveway of the hospital. Vehicles parked in this area may be ticketed/towed. Parking revenue is used for patient care and maintaining the parking lot.
