St. Mary’s General Hospital named by Forbes as one of Canada’s Best Employers 2023

St. Mary’s General Hospital has been named to the Forbes Canada’s Best Employers 2023 list! Not only is St. Mary’s one on only a dozen of hospitals across Canada, but we are also just one of a few organizations across the entire region and the only local hospital to be named this year.

This is the second year that St. Mary’s has received this prestigious award. The full listing that came out today can be viewed on the Forbes website. We extend our congratulations to our St. Joseph's Health System partner St. Joseph’s Health Care London on their award as well!

Forbes and Statista selected the Canada’s Best Employers 2023 through an independent survey. They applied to a vast sample of more than 12,000 Canadian employees working for companies and organizations with more than 500 employees in Canada. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.

We are especially proud of this honour because it speaks to how staff feel about working at St. Mary’s and the tremendous pride felt for our organization and our truly remarkable teams.
