Hospital Amenities

Tim Hortons: Tim Hortons is located in the Hospital lobby. It is open to the public from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Outside of these times, it is only open to team members and patients staying at the Hospital. Owned and run by the SMGH Volunteer Association, all net proceeds are also donated to the SMGH Foundation. The Foundation buys equipment and supplies to improve patient care at the Hospital.

Madeleine’s Gift Shop: While you are at the Hospital, Madeleine's Gift Shop can help with all your shopping needs. This includes essentials like shampoo and toothbrushes, unique handmade items, household goods, and more. Visit the gift shop in the Hospital’s lobby. It is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed on Sundays.

You can also send a gift to a patient. Call us at 519-744-3311 ext. 6442 to make a purchase. A volunteer will bring your gift to the patient’s room. All sales at the gift shop also support patient care at the Hospital.

Cafeteria: The cafeteria is located on the lower level of the Hospital and includes the restaurant Subway.   

Pharmacy: Visit Medication Centre Pharmacy located downstairs by our cafeteria or call 519-745-7077 during the following hours:

Monday and Thursday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Starting June 1, 2023 hours will be Monday–Saturday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
