Outbreak on 500 Medicine Unit Declared Over

In consultation with Region of Waterloo Public Health, St. Mary’s General Hospital is declaring an end to our COVID-19 outbreak on 500. In total, the outbreak impacted five patients and we continue to wish everyone well in their recovery. 

• Diligence with PPE continues.
• In-person Care Partner visits can resume.
• Visitors are required to always wear a mask.
