St. Mary's North Facade Project
Exciting things are starting at St. Mary’s this week! We provide exceptional care within our walls, and this summer, we are also caring for our building. Over the next few months, you will see a lot of work being done to the exterior of St. Mary’s as contractors replace windows and remove balconies—all work that needs to be done for our aging building that will also result in a huge facelift for the northern exterior.
This work is essential structural work that needs to be completed, but it also provides an opportunity to help modernize the exterior of our hospital. A feature of the north façade has been the balconies, but they are worn beyond repair and need to be removed. We apologize for any added noise or traffic around our building but appreciate your patience.
As we move our way down the building removing them this summer, we want to share that progress with you. A big milestone was reached in the project with the completion of the balcony removal portion of the project. Work continues on window replacements and exterior façade, so you will continue to see contractors and construction equipment at the hospital.
