Beginning October 8, St. Mary’s Offers Online Booking for Next Day COVID-19 Testing
St. Mary’s General Hospital is pleased to share that as of 7 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, online bookings for next-day COVID-19 testing are available at its Testing Clinic at 50 Bathurst Dr., Unit 1, in Waterloo.
If you meet criteria for testing at an assessment centre click here to pre-register. The link includes information on current priority groups for testing, a list of COVID-19 symptoms and available time slots for the next day. There are 192 appointments available each day for online booking, and they are expected to fill quickly. Walk-in appointments are no longer available. All previously booked appointments will be honoured.
The St. Mary’s Testing Clinic is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. including weekends and holidays. If you need help booking, or are unable to book online, call 519-885-9517.
At this time we are prioritizing individuals who:
- have symptoms of COVID-19 and/or
- have been informed by public health of an exposure to COVID-19 and/or have received an exposure notification through the COVID-19 Alert app
- are eligible for targeted testing as part of a Ministry initiative
If you are coming with other people to be tested, everyone who requires a test must fill out a separate pre-registration form. You will be asked a number of questions, including basic demographics and your Health Card number, if you have one.
Please click here to find select pharmacies that are testing people without symptoms, as well as other centers in Ontario providing testing for priority groups. A listing of assessment centres in Waterloo Region is available here.
St. Mary’s is striving to provide the most efficient service possible. We ask for your patience as we transition to this new booking system.
